TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2021 AT 5 PM EST – 6:30 PM EST George McFall is leading this virtual tour of key sites and battlefields of WWII in Western Europe. We will hear about London and the Blitz, the Battle of Britain before following the route of the 175,000 allied troops across the English Channel from Portsmouth to Normandy. We’ll discuss the monumental operation of the D-Day landings and the allied final push across mainland Europe in 1944. We will visit wartime Paris before heading through to Berlin via Bastogne in Belgium – the site of the infamous Battle Of The Bulge.
